Our Stages

Our shoes are divided into four stages according to height and age. Each stage has different characteristics according to the different requirements and needs of each age group. We explain them to you in turn below!

Approximate age: 6 to 18 months

Infant baby

Regarding the size range of the shoes, we have combined the baby line with the infant line and now have a range of sizes from 1 to 5 to cater for babies of different ages. For babies who are not yet walking or crawling, we have specially designed shoes that are meant to protect their feet from external elements and cold.
For babies who are already walking, we will also offer all other shoes in sizes 3 to 5. These shoes are designed for children who are already walking, with soles that are more focused on being sturdy and thicker to eliminate foot sensitivity and better protect your baby’s foot health.

Features

The sole is designed to be non-removable mainly to ensure the overall stability and durability of the shoe. The one-piece sole structure can provide firmer support for the baby and reduce the impact that the foot may receive during movement, thus better protecting the baby’s foot health.
In addition, this design also helps keep the shoe compact and lightweight, making it more comfortable for your baby to wear. A sole that is too thin or removable may affect the overall structure of the shoe and reduce the protective properties of the shoe.

Approximate age:9-24 months

Toddler stage

Our new range of baby shoes for toddlers aged 9 to 24 months is designed to support their fledgling journey of discovery. These shoes are designed for babies who are able to walk independently for at least 10 steps, in sizes ranging from 2 to 5. We have paid special attention to the sole, which is made of natural rubber and crafted through a stitching process that ensures that the sole is both thin and flexible, allowing babies to naturally feel the ground and develop foot perception.

For Winter 2024, we have introduced new Moccasins shoes in sizes 1 to 5. Styles 1 and 2 are especially designed for babies who cannot yet walk, with soft suede soles for comfort and protection. The sizes 3 to 5 are equipped with rubber soles for babies who can already walk on their own.

Features

We offer a choice of two different heel heights, clearly labeled in the description of each shoe. In terms of materials, we have both traditional leather shoes and materials of choice for modernists (e.g. microfiber, denim, etc.). The interior of all shoes is made of microfiber, a material that has the same excellent malleability and sensitivity as leather and is easy to clean. This is very important to our brand because babies are active and shoes get dirty easily. Traditional leather materials are not easy to clean and tend to harbor dirt, which is not hygienic for babies. In addition, we have added a soft fleece lining to some of our styles to keep them warm during the winter months.

Age about 2 to 4 years.

At this stage of their development, children begin to show a more courageous and adventurous side, so they need shoes that are sturdy but don’t rob their feet of sensitivity, like a second skin. Our shoes range in size from 6 to 9 and have specially designed soles that are 5 millimeters thick, which are not only hard-wearing, but also maintain the same flexibility as our other styles. The soles of these shoes are made of natural non-slip rubber to ensure your child’s safety during activities.

Product Features As with our baby shoe range, our shoes are available in both normal and medium-high pressure options, which are clearly labeled in the description of each pair. We offer a variety of material options, including leather and microfiber and denim for the modernist. The lining is also made of microfiber, a material that has the same properties and sensitivity as leather, with the added benefit of being washable. Because kids are often outdoors, shoes tend to get covered in mud and dirt inside and out. In addition, we have incorporated extra linings such as cotton, mesh and wipe-clean materials from our winter collection.

Attention.

Why don’t we use soles from the baby shoe range? This is because if we were to add the same sole thickness for this age group as we do for baby shoes (usually 5 mm), the whole shoe would look too heavy. Therefore, we use very thin soles to ensure that the thickness of the whole shoe remains at 5mm.

Ages approximately 4 and up

Children and Adults Route

Kids need a sturdy shoe at this stage of growth without sacrificing comfort and ergonomic design. Because children’s feet grow more slowly, they need shoes that are more durable and less frequently replaced. That’s why we designed a “box” type of children’s shoe that wraps around the foot from the bottom and sides to provide friction and impact protection, and has the same sole as an adult shoe.

The shoe is stitched and bonded to ensure the durability of the sole. Ordinary shoes usually only use the bonding process, but this connection is not strong enough when the shoe bends and twists. Conventional shoes are harder and less flexible, so the sole will not come off with the same force. The stitching process, on the other hand, ensures that the sole is securely attached to the upper in areas that are prone to bending, such as the sides of the toe.

Why is this design not used in smaller shoes?

This is because this type of construction can make the shoe too rigid, leading to discomfort for the child. Before launching the product, we conducted focus group testing and found that children in sizes 8 and 9 preferred the toddler style soles. As a result, we started with this design in size 10. We are currently offering it up to size 15 and will be introducing adult sizes in October!

Product Features

This shoe also features a removable sole for ventilation and easy cleaning of the interior. We offer skinny, normal and wide foot size options, which are clearly labeled in the description of each shoe. Materials include leather and vegan-friendly microfiber and denim. The lining is made of washable microfiber, which has the same properties and sensitivity as leather. This design is especially important in terms of hygiene, considering that children are often outdoors and their shoes tend to get dirty. We have also incorporated additional linings such as cotton, mesh and wipe-clean materials from our winter collection.
